Happy 6 1/4, Kinley!

Well, since poor Kinley's birthday falls on December 30, it's always a little difficult to plan a party for her. I kept promising in January that we'd have one for her (and she told all of her friends...), so we planned a pretty untraditional "6 1/4 Birthday Party" for her. Six of her friends came over and we had some girly-girl fun! She was beaming the whole week before as she looked forward to the second official party she's ever celebrated.
We love our little Kinley girl! Here are the reasons why...
1. She always has a smile on her face.
2. She always jumps in and helps with whatever needs to be done.
3. She's not a complainer.
4. She loves to be silly and to make us laugh (rapping is the most recent source of fun- "boom, chick, boom, chick, a wicka-wicka-wicka-wicka WORD") complete with "rapping arms" and sideways ball cap...
5. She loves to dress up and has particular style beyond her sisters and mom.
6. She's sensitive, sweet, thoughtful, helpful, and a ball of fun!

Our Lizzy has a Dec. 23rd bday and we always celebrate it in July-a recommendation I got from adult Dec. bdays when I was pregnant. Sweet kids always need their own special day. What fun to make it a 1/4th! The cakes look great!
