Sweet Camdyn

Please pray for Cam! I have been reading a little bit on the internet and it's a bit unsettling to consider the possibilities. I know that our God is in total control, but as a mother, it is difficult to consider those possibilities. Pray that I would rest in the Lord! If anyone is interested in doing a little research (I don't have much free time!), I have found a few articles under "sudden onset of strabismus", or "sudden crossing of the eye", with "children" tagged on. Thanks!

We are praying for her and for you all! It is SO hard to keep every thought captive in situations like this.

By the way, she is so cute...I'm sure you noticed that, though. :)

The family that Milo and I lived with had the same thing happen to their 2yr old. At last note, eye exercises and sunlight helped a lot although they could never get an answer to why it happened. I saw how frustrating it was for the parents, so I will definitely be praying for your trust in God, as well as for Camdyn that it won't be anything serious.

PS. stay away from Google!! :D

We'll definetly keep her in our prayers. She seems like such a sweetie from all the pictures you post. She's also a beautiful little girl.

I remember a number of children in their nursery school years who suddenly seemed to develop that "crossing of one eye". They called it "lazy eye" ... and in each case I remember, they got glasses to correct the vision in the "lazy eye", sometimes put a patch over the "strong" eye part time coupled with eye daily "exercises" to "strengthen" the vision in the "lazy eye" (that turns inward). Eventually many of them didn't need glasses anymore ... and others wore lenses of differing strengths in each eye. I don't know if that's what our sweet Cam has ... but I remember these children living happy active lives like any other kid. Our LORD is a merciful and healing GOD ... and may HIS compassionate restoring hand be upon darling Camdyn! Let us pray in faith as HE is sovereign and WILL be glorified through this and for her/all of our good! May HE comfort you and hold you in HIS arm. "HE will feed His flock like a shepherd; HE will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young." (Isaiah 40:11) Love, Midori
